Recent ActivityThe Powell High School Scholars' Bowl team is an academic quiz bowl team that participates in area competitions using a question and answer format. We practice two days a week. On Mondays, Ms. Jordan reads in room 108 from 3:45 - 5:00. Mrs. Holt reads every Wednesday in room 303 from 3:45 - 5:00. We invite anyone with a serious interest in academic competition (and seemingly useless trivia) to come and read with us.
Group Announcements A Gigantic Thank You!A huge "thank you" goes out to the Welch family and the Pilot Corporation for their generous donations to Scholars' Bowl. We will be funding our upcoming tournament, right here at Powell, and hopefully buying a newer, better, fully functional buzzer system. Mrs. Welch and Pilot also paid for the registration fee for the CAK tournament earlier in the year.
